Indo French Fellowship, wherein 5 people from India are selected to work in French organization for 6 months in Paris. I worked on a Hospital Building in Belgium, especially on Facade treatment.
Cool Abu Dhabi Challenge
Submitted to Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport
The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) of Abu Dhabi orgainsed a global creative ideas competition to improve outdoor thermal comfort in public spaces by mitigating the impact of the Urban Heat Island Effect in the city. In case of Abu Dhabi, capital city of UAE, experience extreme temperatures throughout the year, thus depriving thermal comfort. The given site receives maximum solar radiation and mostly is non-shaded during the peak summers. The main model developed was called Socio-climo-techno-model which focuses on creating architecture for a public plaza through strategies that responds to people, site and city that promotes expression, gathering and comfort, thus becoming a physical connection to the city. Design was further developed considering four main parameters namely, climatic strategies, accessibility, visibility and functionality.

Me with 2 of my colleagues, wrote a research paper on
Energy Efficiency of Hospitals (Case - Tarachand Hospital, Pune) From among 100 research paper, 10 research papers where selected for oral presentation and ours was one of them.

Reimagining Sinhagad Road - Street Redesign Competition

Sinhagad Road being a Urban Street was reimagined as Green Corridor of Pune City.
The concept of Green Corridor includes integration with Nature, different options to Commute and Socially Inclusive. The proposal addresses a neighbourhood level transportation system (TRAM) proposed from Saras Baug to Khadawasala – 12km in length. Tram is considered as a Green Transportation system as occupies minimal space on road, needs least infrastructure, and is environmental friendly because it is electrically driven.
We were winners for this competition.



Sahapedia-UNESCO fellowship, Pune
Aug 2017-March 2018
The Sahapedia-UNESCO Fellowship was a collaborative project to encourage fresh research on tangible and intangible heritage across India . I presented a research on Kaas Plateau (Maharashtra, India) which falls under the Sahyadri Sub Cluster of Western Ghats was registered as UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2012. It is a hot-spot of biodiversity due to its unique eco-system and high degree of endemism. The proposal aims at documenting the richness of the biodiversity present at Kaas Plateau and understand the efforts taken by different agencies in conservation of this rich habitat. Moreover, Environmental Education is also addressed in this proposal which focuses on creating awareness among the people about environment through Sahapedia Portal. All the fellows were formally certified and acknowledge at Delhi. (Photos of the ceremony attached below)

World Sustainable Built Environment
Hong Kong, 2016
Lead a multidisciplnary team comprising of architects, social expert, economic analyst, environmental architects and interns. The main purpose of competition was to bring out projects with regard to sustainability and redevelopment of old city cores. Our proposal focused on the concept of Cluster development in Pune old city which involved amalgamation of plts that creates open space network in the city ensuring better light and ventilation. This in turn, also enhances the environmental quality of neighbourhood areas in old city
